Ascend Financial Group is an independent agent office program that specializes in providing safe-money strategies for retirees through non-qualified money. The program is designed to maximize premium volume as opposed to premium case size.
How it works
The program is geographically based within larger metro areas where agents have a protected region through which to market. Agents open their own offices branded under Ascend Financial to provide multiple office credibility to potential clients. Prospects are seniors looking to invest non-qualified funds of smaller premium amounts through FIAs and MYGAs.

Program Description
Annuity Universe targets retired and soon-to-be-retired consumers from an educational perspective. The core of the program is an annuity assessment that provides consumers with a custom score reflecting their level of qualification for an annuity.
How it works
Annuity Universe deploys a nationwide ad campaign targeting consumers through various demographic and psychographic profiles and specific areas of the country. Leads are assigned to advisors based on various factors, and appointments are scheduled for the lead and advisor to meet. Different types of leads have different values, and agents are able to earn incentives based on their production and level of lead management engagement.

Federal Benefits Group
Program Description
The company’s newest program focuses on filling the void Federal employees encounter as they approach retirement. Few Federal HR departments are able to adequately assist employees in navigating benefits, and that’s the service this program specializes in providing.
How It Works
Through a highly targeted ad campaign, the program attracts Federal employees who are typically 55+ and nearing retirement. They are able to complete a specific questionnaire that collects pertinent data to inform advisors as to what the primary and secondary goals of the employee are and what parts of the Federal benefits program they need assistance with: FEGLI, FERS, TSP, and other benefits.
